In order to transfer money from BofA to Chase, you'll need to have an active Checking or Savings account with both financial institutions.
Start off by logging in to your Chase online banking through their website.
From here, you'll click on the 'Pay & Transfer' tab to the right of where it says 'Accounts.'
This will enable you to add an external bank account - in this case your Bank of America account.
A new dropdown menu will appear. Click on 'Transfer Money' to continue.
Now, you'll need to add your Bank of America account as an external account linked to Chase.
You can do this by entering your login credentials, or by entering your account and routing numbers.
